Job Seekers: Application support - Q&A

Date & Time: Thursday, 17th of October, 19:00-20:30

Location: Online

You are still trying to gain a foothold in the working world or you are about to graduate and have many unanswered questions about what lies ahead in the work field?

Have you ever wondered what exactly is a traineeship and how do I apply for one? Is there anything I need to watch out for when applying for a PhD? What do recruiters look for? What areas can I work in after studying Psychology? On Thursday October the 17th at 19:00 we are organising an online session, which we are gathering expert knowledge for. During this session we hope to offer you answers to these questions and many more of your job-related queries. If there are any questions we are unable to answer during the session we will reach out to our network to offer you an answer after the session.

We look forward to hearing all your queries and trying to provide you with a peak behind the curtain of the working world after studying Psychology!

Publecture

Date & Time: Friday, 21st of June 2024, 19.30

Location: De Vluchte, Oldenzaalsestraat 153a, 7523 AA Enschede

We invite you to come join Amygdala and Dimensie on the 21st of June at 19:30 at De Vluchte to enjoy a nice refreshing drink or maybe some special beer while learning about an interesting and new topic. Art perception is not merely about seeing. It is a complex interplay between visual processing and emotional response, deeply influenced by personal and cultural factors.

During our Publecture on the 21st of June Dr. Francesco Walker will explain the psychological aspects of art perception, exploring how our age, backgrounds and experiences influence the way we view, interpret and appreciate visual art. With a PhD from the University of Twente and an assistant professorship at Leiden University, Dr. Walker has always been interested in applying objective scientific methods to real-life problems, and in explaining his findings to a broad range of audiences. In Leiden he founded the HAT Lab, a research group that studies how Humans interact with Art and Technology.
